1000g Minced steak
Brioche buns
Gherkins
Sliced cheese (Cheddar)
Sauce of your choice
Step 1.
To prepare your burger, roll out a good length of cling film and double over, then carefully take the first pack of mince and lay it out ensuring all the strings stay in one direction
Step 2.
Now sprinkle a good amount of salt over this first layer (This is what binds the meat)
Step 3.
Repeat the first step by adding the second pack of the top of the first
Step 4.
Now, roll the meat up using the clingfilm until you have it completely wrapped like a sausage. Place in the fridge for at least an hour
Step 5.
Take out your roll of burger meat and slice off the desired number of burgers and leave to warm through
Step 6.
When ready, place on the grill and flip every 30 seconds for about 2-3 minutes
Step 7.
Take off the burgers and let them rest, add the cheese at this stage so it melts
Step 8.
Toast your buns, add your burgers and dress with salad, gherkins and sauce
